I have my clown’s shoes for about 11 years and it was the first time I was looking my shoes and felling the need of a restoration a bit more shine.
I had a weeding to do the Children’s entertainer, where I looked after all kids when the adults were on other room enjoying the food, it was great so that was the need of to have all my clothe and the shoes looking the best, so, here I will reveal to you, step by step how I did it:

I used:
  • ·          Masking Tape.
  • ·          Old newspaper.
  • ·          Spray painting black colour.
  • ·          Spray painting White colour.
  • ·          Krystal Clear 549 Flat mat/ seidenmatt spray.





As you can see at the photo I started covering all white places of the shoes with the Masking Tape and newspaper for don’t affect the white area when I used the black painting. I gave about five coats of black, taking my time, don’t try to do fast, paint and let dry, and always remember to use little pain and not allowing the painting to run. Cover very well every white corner.

Now the white shoes part:



Now we must to do the opposite done at the first step we cover the black parts and expose the white and spray the white part, at the beginner I was not sure if will woks to spray leather and the result will be satisfactory but as a very courageous Children’s entertainer clown (hahahaha) I decide to go ahead and I loved the result.
At the end I sprayed the entire shoes with the Krystal Clear seidenmatt spray to final touch and I notice a great improvement at my clown clown’s shoes. So next time you thinking to hire a clown make sure to check his shoes maintenance.

PS: I didn't take the picture after everything done only because I forgot to take the before start the painting process, So, I guess you can find out what a changing but believing me, its brand new shoes.
